ד''ר רימאא דעאס מרצה וחוקרת בתחום חינוך במכללת אלקאסמי. היא סיימה את לימודי התואר הראשון במתמטיקה וסטטיסטיקה באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים וכן סיימה תואר ראשון נוסף בייעוץ חינוכי וסוציולוגיה-אנתרופולוגיה באוניברסיטת חיפה. את לימודי התואר השני והשלישי סיימה במגמת מנהיגות ומדיניות בחינוך באוניברסיטת חיפה כשאת לימודי תואר שני סיימה בהצטיינות וחקרה את הקשר בין חזון, למידה ארגונית ותוצאות בית ספריות. בלימודי תואר שלישי חקרה את הקשר בין מאפייני מנהלים וקידום תוצאות בקונטקסט של שינוי ארגוני. כיום, היא עושה את פוסט-הדוקטורט שלה באוניברסיטת בר-אילן.
